The Seven Rivers Art Route is a 350 kilometre long exhibition of art and artists. Stretching from Holmsund on the East coast to Storjola in the Dorotea Municipality in the west, the trip passes or crosses seven different rivers. A fascinating journey combining the art and beauty of nature and culture. This contrast of barren north Swedish landscape and dramatic artwork captures the imagination and inspires with evocative names such as "Poem for an imaginary river" and "Heaven Meeting".

The Seven Rivers Art Route journey of discovery was opened in 1998 and takes us through five districts with two works of art in each. New pieces of artwork are continually sought and added bringing in 2010 a total of 12 works of art. See www.konstvagen.se.
