Visiting:The Elk House, two pieces of art along the Seven Rivers Art Route, the Artisan's House

Beautifully located some 60 kilometres from Umeå and to the West of Bjurholm, former Swedish ski star Christer Johansson and his wife Ulla created the very first "Elk House" in Europe with tame elk! Elk House began in 1996 when the couple bought the first calves from Kolmården and Junsele zoos. Since which Elk House has grown into one of the regions premier tourist attractions.
